Jason Nicol is a man who lives in Holby.
Biography
On 8 June 2019, in an attempt to join a gang that his step-brother Chris was a part of, Jason helped him steal a man's phone on a motorbike. However, the man managed to wrestle Jason off the bike, and Chris accidentally hit an elderly woman named Barbara before making his escape. He was taken to Holby City Hospital's emergency department, and, due to her deafness, he became scared as he did not know what was happening. However, staff nurse Jade Lovall managed to communicate with him by signing. She asked him if he was responsible for what happened to Barbara, and he maintained that it was a mistake.
Chris later visited Jason in resus and told him that he blew his chance of getting into the gang, but he did not care anymore as he only wanted to join to feel safer. When Barbara started to crash next door, Jason decided to take the blame for the accident and told his step-brother to leave. Later, Jason began to complain of a headache. Jade discovered that his injuries were hiding a rash and suggested to consultant Dylan Keogh that he was suffering from meningitis - her assumption was later proven to be correct. Once Jason stabilised, Chris returned to his bedside and vowed to come clean to the police. (CAS: Series 33, Episode 38)
