Bea encourages Alicia to seek help with her emotional trauma and gives her a leaflet from a sexual assault clinic. At a session, not wanting to be seen as the victim, Alicia explains that she is trying to find techniques to help sexual assault victims, and she uses her situation as a hypothetical scenario. However, when she receives further confirmation that she is a victim of rape, she becomes uncomfortable and leaves prematurely.
At work, Alicia insists that she is coping, but she snaps at Eddie when he suggests being friends again. Later, after she berates him for holding Louise's arm in a playful manner, he confronts her and tells her that he finds her treatment of him confusing. Overwhelmed, Alicia runs into the toilets and experiences a panic attack. In the staff room, Bea comforts her when she begins to break down. Back at the sexual assault clinic, Alicia admits that the hypothetical scenario she presented is the one she is in.
